Why Pakistan?
Pakistan is a major textile and apparel producer, with a long tradition in sportswear and uniforms. Faisalabad is the country’s textile centre, with fabric, dyeing and garment production close together. Read why Faisalabad is Pakistan’s textile capital.
Step 1: Send a clear request
Include:
- product (e.g. cricket kits, chef coats, hoodies);
- quantity and rough size split;
- logo files and colours;
- fabric preference or how the garment will be used;
- delivery country and city, and any deadline.
Step 2: Review the quote and mock-up
A good quote states the specification, unit price, minimum order, lead time, payment terms and shipping terms. The mock-up shows your design on the garment.
Step 3: Approve a sample
Check fit, fabric, colour and decoration. If anything is wrong, ask for a revised sample before bulk production.
Step 4: Confirm sizes and pay the deposit
Send the final size list. A deposit usually confirms production; the balance is typically paid before dispatch. Payment is normally by bank transfer.
Step 5: Production and quality control
The factory cuts, decorates, stitches and checks your order. Ask for photos of finished goods before dispatch. See our quality control checklist.
Step 6: Shipping and customs
- Air courier for team orders and urgent deliveries.
- Sea freight for large volumes.
Agree the Incoterm (e.g. EXW, FOB, DAP, DDP) so it is clear who pays freight, insurance and import duties. See Incoterms for apparel buyers and import duties on clothing.
Tips for a smooth first order
- Start with a sample, even for a repeat product.
- Keep one point of contact on each side.
- Put everything agreed in writing.
- Allow time for the season or event: production plus shipping.

Frequently asked questions
How do I know the factory is real?
Ask for photos or video of production, a sample before bulk, and check the business on Google and trade directories. A video call from the factory floor is a good sign.
What currency will I pay in?
International orders are usually quoted in US dollars, or in local currency such as GBP or AED on request.
